The First Dawn campaign

Every year, residents and guests of the Polar capital gather on the "Sunny Hill" to see the first rays of the long-awaited sun after the 40-day polar night.

The traditional "First Dawn" campaign will take place on January 11. On this day, the first ray of the sun will be visible in the southeastern part of the sky and the snowy landscape will be illuminated with a soft pink light.

The venue is the site of the Sunny Hill hill (1387 km of the Leningrad Highway, south-east direction from the Krechet complex).

All those who came to the meeting will be awarded commemorative badges.
