Imandra Viking Fest
Add to the journey
The Imandra Viking Fest family festival is a festival of northern culture in the Kola Arctic – a stylized open–air settlement where anyone, regardless of age, can join the Viking culture: try out various crafts, practice martial arts, study ancient folk dances and much more. The holiday, which has become a tradition, will take you to the era of sagas and legends about the Vikings, show their way of life from a new side, and help solve the riddles of the mysterious Scandinavian people.
The festival includes more than 25 zones with various Viking-themed activities, some of them:
• Seer's Hut – each participant can become a part of a real theatrical performance and get into the seer's hut, as well as get a prediction from a fortune teller on runes;
• Thor Games – team sports competitions for real Vikings;
• Children's area with a puppet theater, cardboard workshop, aquagrim, etc.;
• Immersive show "Nordic Immersion" is a format of interaction between actors and the audience, involving the audience in the presentation process.
The festival has been held annually since 2018. It is part of the line of events united under the umbrella brand Imandra Fest: https://visit-imandra.ru/imandra-fest /.
