Journey to Mount Mishukovaya on snowshoes

Snowshoe trip to Mount Mishukova (348 m), one of the highest hills in the immediate vicinity of Murmansk, located on the western shore of the Kola Bay, near the village of Mishukovo.
After climbing through the fluffy snow through a small stunted forest, you will see:
- the place of the beginning of the Northern Sea Route,
- Southern and Middle knee of the Kola Bay from a bird's-eye view,
- location of the world's only nuclear-powered icebreaker fleet,
- the only aircraft carrier in Russia and,
- if the weather conditions allow, a piece of the Barents Sea. Our guide will tell you about the history of the surrounding places from the moment of settlement by the Finns and natives of the Karelian Pomerania to the present day.
We are sure that after moderate physical activity and a healthy portion of oxygen, you will not give up a light, traditional for the "Breath of the North", snack and herbal tea. Departure time from Murmansk-09.00 Exit to the route - 10.00 Exit to the hill - 11.00 Free time-walk, admire the views, take pictures, drink tea, fall asleep with questions from the guide-guide. At 12.00 we start the descent down. At 13.00 we leave for the return journey. At 14.00 arrival in the hero city of Murmansk.
