"Waterfalls of Murmansk"

The Murmansk Region is in many ways an unusual region. Despite the fact that it occupies one peninsula, the variety of landscapes in its various parts is stunning in beauty. There are endless swamps and high mountain ranges, tundra and taiga forests open to everything, sandy beaches turn into arrays of inaccessible rocks on the seashore, as well as many large and beautiful waterfalls. The view of the flowing and bubbling water is fascinating and breathtaking. Even on a short trip, there is an opportunity to stop by to admire the next splendor of nature.

Tour program*:

• Gathering of tourists in Murmansk. The meeting place is the Five Corners Square, parking in front of the Meridian Hotel.
• We are going from Murmansk to the starting point of the main part of the tour.
• Waterfall on the Lavna river.
• Two waterfalls on the Western Face River.
• APC waterfall on the Yuringo River. Next to the bridge over the Yuringa. If you go down to the base of the bridge, you can see there a carved logo left over from the Finnish army road builders - "Road Maintenance Company 1942". Before that, there was also a bridge built by a Soviet sapper battalion.
• Mill Waterfall on the Titovka River is one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls on the river. The mill cascade has 3 stages. There is a good parking place near the waterfall, many clearings. Titovka is a large mountain river, has many rapids and a fast current. It flows into the Barents Sea and flows between Murmansk and Pechenga. In ancient times, it was called a Whale, since whaling existed at the mouth of the river - from time to time whales were thrown ashore by the sea current.
• It is possible with children, as we will travel by car.
• On the way we will drink tea with sweets.
• Let's have a picnic at one of the waterfalls to gain strength.
