Tour to the Rybachy and Sredny Peninsula (2 days)

Driving on dirt roads among the Arctic tundra. Soviet coastal pillboxes of the Great Patriotic War. Large-scale northern landscapes: waterfalls, Seids, stratified rocks washed by the Barents Sea. The Sredny and Rybachy peninsulas are the most beautiful places in the North of Russia. Until now, these places are very popular among historians and local historians. Rybachy is located 350 km north of the Arctic Circle, so there is a Polar night on its territory – it lasts 42 days (from December 2 to January 12), and the Polar Day – 59 days (from May 24 to July 21). The peninsula is located in the zone of the highest frequency of occurrence of auroras – one of the most beautiful natural phenomena.

Tour itinerary: Murmansk, memorials, battle sites, Musta-Tunturi mountain range, Sredny Peninsula, Rybachy Peninsula - the northernmost tip of the European part of Russia – a lighthouse on the coast of the Barents Sea (Arctic Ocean).

Duration of the tour: 2 days. The length of the route is about 500 km.

First day: 

- Departure from Murmansk.

- Memorial complex "Valley of Glory".

- Waterfall on the Titovka River.

- "Drunken Creek", a traditional, canonical stop before the pass.

- Musta-Tunturi Pass.

- Inspection of the defense line during the Great Patriotic War.

- Visit to the place of memory of military glory "The Height of the Egg".

- Moving on the Average p-vu.

- Rybachy Peninsula.

- Cape Cow.

- Cape Skorbeevsky, "dead city".

- Cape Kekursky, lunch, Vida Guba.

- Cape German, old lighthouse, new lighthouse.

- Fortifications of the Second World War, the Kian Littoral, Cape Cow.

- Accommodation at the Litoral Camp

- Dinner, free time.

The second day:

- Breakfast.

- Nature monument "Two brothers", "Rock Garden", water area, a favorite place for killer whales to hunt seals. Lunch.

- Visit to an abandoned coastal large-caliber artillery battery.

- A museum on the Middle Peninsula, a chapel, military graves.

- Musta-Tunturi Pass.

- Titovka River.

- Arrival in Murmansk.
