Ecoforum "Kovdor-Hyperborea. Reboot" united young environmentalists from different cities of the country

A youth environmental forum was held in the Kovdor Municipal District as part of the socio–cultural project "Kovdor - Hyperborea. Without a transplant", which is the winner of the First competition of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives 2021.

99 boys and girls from Kovdor, Apatity, Murmansk, Monchegorsk, Voronezh, St. Petersburg and Pskov took part in the eco-forum. The purpose of the event is to unite the efforts of young people in preserving the nature of the North for future generations in the interests of sustainable development of ecological culture and tourism.

For two days, young ecologists took part in master classes, quests, visited excursions and plein-airs, shared successful experience in implementing initiatives, developed projects to improve environmental literacy among young people and ecotourism routes. Forest Hyperborean cuisine worked for the participants. As part of the rally, a photo contest was organized, the results of which will be summed up in a week.

In the environmental forum "Kovdor-Hyperborea. Reset" was attended by representatives of the Kovdorsky Municipal District and the Murmansk Region Tourism Committee.
