Kanozersk petroglyphs has become an object of cultural heritage of the Russian Federation

Most of the petroglyphs are located on the islands: Spruce, Gorel and Stone. Another part of the drawings is carved on the Lonely rock. In total, there are more than 1,200 drawings with images of ancient animals, hunting scenes and ritual patterns. Their age exceeds six thousand years. And the Kanozero petroglyphs are one of the five largest monuments of the primitive era in the world.
