The Museum of the History of the city of Kola is the youngest museum of the Murmansk region, which preserves the history of the oldest city of the Kola Peninsula.
In 2020, a permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of the city of Cola was opened. In the museum, residents and visitors of the city can learn about the main events in the history of Cola of the XVI – XIX centuries, about the occupations and life of the inhabitants of the harsh northern region, get acquainted with the sights of the city, see the already lost monuments of antiquity.
In the exhibition hall of the museum there are exhibitions telling about the history and culture of the city and the region. Currently, the museum's collections include more than 500 museum items. Most of the collection is represented by household items, ethnography and decorative and applied arts.
The Museum of the History of the city of Cola invites you to excursions:
