Murmansk is a city on the hills. That is why in the capital of the Arctic region you can safely get up on skis and snowboards.

One of the main slopes for skiing is located in the ski complex "Nord Star" in the Pervomaisky district of the city. There are several illuminated trails with a length of 750 to 1000 meters and a height difference of 120 meters. It offers visitors a tow lift with a length of 750 meters and a capacity of 875 people per hour. The complex has a system of artificial snowmaking of the slope and a special machine for the care of the ratrak tracks, which improves the quality of skiing. On request, classes with guests are conducted by professional instructors. Equipment rental is available.

Despite the fact that the complex is located within the city, there is a vast green area next to it, where you can feel yourself away from the hustle and bustle. And from the top of the slope there is a beautiful view of the city. There is also a cafe "X-Bar" with European cuisine, a wood-burning sauna with a swimming pool, a hotel, 30 gazebos, large and small cottages that can be rented, for example, for holidays. Guests can relax with a game of billiards on the 12-pound table, and players are offered professional equipment. For visitors to the hotel, sauna, cottages, gazebos and ski slopes, there is free parking with video surveillance. On the territory of the complex there are: X-Bar, hotel, ski slope, cozy cottages and gazebos for recreation, wood-burning sauna, billiards.
