Monument (Spire) on a mass grave at an altitude of 314.9

The monument is set on a granite plateau and has the character of a sarcophagus. On the base is a triangular pyramid with a height of about 5 meters.
On the memorial plaque is the inscription: "To the heroic defenders of the height of 314.9 meters from the collective v / h 20346".

Here lie the remains of more than 800 people who died in the battles for the height of 314.9.
The monument was opened on August 27, 1982.
