Five sculptural portraits (busts), made of tinted concrete up to the chest, were installed on May 9, 1966, on the Victory Day.


1. Vasily Yefremov (01.01.1915-18.08.1990)


Squadron commander of the 10th Guards Bomber Aviation Regiment of the 270th Bomber Aviation Division of the 8th Air Army of the Southern Front, Guard captain. Twice Hero of the Soviet Union.


During the Great Patriotic War, from June 1941 to September 1944, Yefremov was the commander of the Aviazven, deputy commander and commander of the air squadron of the 10th Guards Bomber Aviation Regiment. He participated in the battles on the Southwestern, Stalingrad, 4th Ukrainian and 3rd Belorussian fronts.


In the battles for Stalingrad, Yefremov made 198 sorties, destroyed 5 railway trains, 15 vehicles with military cargo, 11 aircraft and many other military equipment. By February 1943, the commander of the squadron of the 10th Guards Bomber Aviation Regiment (270th Bomber Aviation Division, 8th Air Army, Southern Front) of the Guards, Captain Efremov, had made 293 sorties to bombard accumulations of enemy manpower and military equipment.


By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on may 1, 1943, for exemplary performance of combat missions bombing and reconnaissance of the enemy, and for his heroism and courage Ephraim Vasily Sergeyevich was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union and the order of Lenin and medal "gold Star" (No. 733).


The crew of the aircraft under the command of V. S. Efremov destroyed 32 enemy aircraft at airfields and 4 in air combat.


By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of August 24, 1943, for 340 successful combat sorties of the Guard, Captain Vasily Efremov was awarded the second Gold Star medal.


2. Kapitonov Vasily Efremovich.


Air gunner-radio operator of the 33rd Bomber Aviation Regiment of the 19th Bomber Aviation Division of the South-Western Front, senior sergeant.


Born on 12.04.1917 in the village of Sutoki, now the Sebezhsky district of the Pskov region, in a peasant family. In 1936, he graduated from the Leningrad Automobile Technical School. He worked as a construction technician. Since 1938, in the ranks of the Red Army. In 1939, he graduated from the school of junior aviation specialists. Participant of the Soviet-Finnish War of 1939-1940.


Since June 22, 1941, Sergeant V. E. Kapitonov on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War.


By February 1942, air gunner-radio operator of the 33rd Bomber Aviation Regiment (19th Bomber Aviation Division, Southwestern Front) Senior sergeant V. E. Kapitonov made 111 sorties as part of the crew, shot down 3 enemy Me-109 fighters in 4 air battles (another one was lit at the airfield), and destroyed more than 250 enemy soldiers and officers.


For exemplary performance of command assignments, courage, bravery and heroism shown in the battles against the Nazi invaders, by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR from March 27, 1944, awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union and the order of Lenin and medal "gold Star" (No. 640).


In 1943, he graduated from the pilot school, and in 1945-from the Rustav Military Aviation School of Pilots. He participated in the Soviet-Japanese War of 1945.


3. Peter Antonovich Bochin (12.05.1920-22.07.1971).


Commander of the aviation link of the 10th Guards Bomber Aviation Regiment of the 270th Bomber Aviation Division of the 8th Air Army of the Southern Front of the Guards Lieutenant.


 He was born on May 12, 1920 in the village of Kresty, now Rameshkovsky district, Tver Region, in a peasant family. In 1936, he graduated from a seven-year school and a construction school in Kalinin (now the city of Tver). He worked as a carpenter, and at the same time worked in an aeroclub.


 In the Red Army since 1939. He graduated from the Voroshilovgrad Military Aviation School of Pilots. With the beginning of the Great Patriotic War in the active army. He bombed the enemy during the Battle of Stalingrad, participated in the battles for the Donbass.


 By September 1943, he had flown 365 sorties, destroying dozens of tanks, blowing up several warehouses, bridges, ferries, and railway trains.


 He took an active part in the battles for the liberation of the city of Melitopol, Zaporozhye region of Ukraine.


By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on November 1, 1943, for exemplary performance of command assignments at the front against the Nazi invaders and displaying courage and heroism guard Lieutenant Bochin Pyotr was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union and the order of Lenin and medal "gold Star" (No. 1268).


 After the Victory over Hitler's Germany, P. A. Bochin participated in the Soviet-Japanese War of 1945, and then continued to serve in the Soviet Air Force. In 1947, he graduated from the Higher Officer Flight and Tactical Courses. Since 1963, Lieutenant Colonel Bochin P. A. - in the reserve.


 He lived and worked in Moscow. He died on July 22, 1971. He was buried in Moscow at the Lublin cemetery (74 Stavropol Street, plot 34a).


 Awarded 2 orders of Lenin, order of the red banner of Patriotic war 1-St degree, the red Star and medals.


4. Sklyarov Ivan Andreevich.


Pilot of the 33rd high-speed bomber Aviation Regiment of the 19th Bomber Aviation Division of the South-Western Front, lieutenant.


He was born on September 10, 1920 in the village of Grabovo, now Irtysh district, Pavlodar region, Kazakhstan, in a working-class family. He worked at the Krasnaya Zvezda mine in the city of Chistyakovo (now the city of Torez) Donetsk region of Ukraine.


Participant of the Great Patriotic War since June 1941.


By February 1942, he had flown 87 sorties to bombard important targets and enemy troops.


By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on 27 March 1942, for exemplary performance of command assignments at the front against the Nazi invaders and displaying courage and heroism, Lieutenant Ivan Andreyevich Sklyarova awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union and the order of Lenin and medal "gold Star" (No. 639).


Participant of the historic Victory Day Parade on June 24, 1945 in Moscow on Red Square.


He was awarded the Order of Lenin, the Red Banner, 2 Orders of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, 3 Orders of the Red Star, and medals.


Honorary citizen of the city of Severomorsk.


5. Syromyatnikov Boris Pavlovich (28.03.1910-16.10.1944)


Commander of the 9th Guards Red Banner Mine-Torpedo Aviation Regiment of the 5th Mine-Torpedo Aviation Division of the Northern Fleet Air Force, Lieutenant Colonel of the Guards.


He performed the feat in one of the battles during the Petsamo-Kirkenes offensive operation of the Soviet troops. On 16.10.44, the Northern Fleet aircraft attacked a convoy leaving the Norwegian port of Kirkenes several times. The final blow in the area of Cape Hibergneset (Norway) was delivered by two six torpedo bombers: one-9 gmtap (the leading commander of the regiment, Lieutenant Colonel B. P. Syromyatnikov, navigator — Major A. I. Sknarev, gunner-radio operator, Sergeant G. S. Aseev, air gunner I. Danilov) and the other — 36 mtap (leading captain I. T. Volynkin). The actions of the torpedo bombers were covered by 15 fighters. In the battle, the enemy lost 2 vehicles, a patrol ship, a minesweeper, a boat and 5 aircraft. Three kilometers from the target, an enemy shell hit the left engine of the Syromyatnikov plane. The car caught fire, but the regiment commander continued the attack, bringing other cars to the target. When the distance to the transports decreased to 500 meters, Syromyatnikov's plane fired two torpedoes. They destroyed a transport of 6 thousand tons. The plane itself fell into the sea, the crew was killed.


By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of 05.11.44, for the courage and heroism shown in the battles with the Nazi invaders, Lieutenant Colonel B. P. Syromyatnikov was posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union.


He was awarded the Order of Lenin, three Orders of the Red Banner, and medals.


By order of the Minister of the Navy of the USSR of 08.05.1950, Lieutenant Colonel Syromyatnikov was permanently enlisted in the lists of personnel of one of the units of the Red Banner Northern Fleet Air Force.
