Memorial "To the Memory of the Fallen for the Sake of the Living"

It is installed in memory of the internationalist soldiers who died in the performance of military duty. The author of the monument is the Olenegorsk artist Pyotr Ivanovich Danilov.

It is a granite slab with the image of two carnations, an Eternal Flame and the words embossed on it: "To the memory of the fallen for the sake of the living."

The initiative to install the monument belongs to the veterans of the war in Afghanistan, LLC "Internationalist" of the city of Olenegorsk.
