Holy Trinity Trifonov Pechenga monastery
Add to the journey
Founded in 1533 by St. Tryphon of Pechenga, the Holy Trinity monastery is the northernmost Orthodox monastery in the world, and for centuries has been a stronghold of faith and statehood on the Northern borders of Russia.
In the Pechenga monastery, a daily monastic circle of divine services is performed. The brethren of the monastery accept lists of names for constant prayer commemoration, intercede before the Lord for the health and well-being of all those who are dear to us and for the repose of the souls of our deceased relatives and friends. On Sunday a divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Church for veneration by the faithful shall be made to the greatest Shrine of our region — an old icon of St. Tryphon of Pechenga miracle worker with a particle of his Holy relics.
