Add to the journey
The museum of the military glory of the connection was created on the basis of the barracks, in which the crews of the ships lived at one time. Tragically remembered are the crews of the K-131 submarine, which killed 13 — 12 of them are buried at the memorial complex, which is located at the entrance to the village . After 131, the K-141 crew — the crew of the Kursk, which has not been with us for more than 15 years-was quartered in the barracks.
At the end of 2003, the Council of mothers of "Kursk" appealed to the command with a request to provide a room for the organization of the museum — it was decided that the barracks would be suitable for this purpose as well as possible.
As a result, at the end of 2003, the museum of the division's military glory was created, including 4 halls dedicated to "Kursk".
In the first room on the left is information about the period of the Great Patriotic War.
There are also rare photos of that time, and items and weapons handed over to search teams, found in the places of battles.
In the first hall on the right, information about the connection is presented, about what submariners are currently performing tasks, as well as information about the home base — ARA Bay.
Next are the halls of the division's ships ' patronage connections. The submarines left the factory under the codes - "Perch", "Carp", "Barracuda" -in the difficult 90s for the fleet, the idea arose to rename the ships in honor of those cities that would help the fleet. The first was renamed K-119 - "Voronezh", then "Kursk", "Tambov", "Kostroma", "Pskov", "Nizhny Novgorod", the 284 crew were the leaders of the Kaduysky district of the Vologda region, the Southern Administrative District of the city of Moscow began to patronize the submarine "St. Daniel of Moscow".
In the rooms where the cabins of the officers and midshipmen of the Kursk used to be located, data on the 33rd division of the SF Submarine was placed, information about Fyodor Alekseevich Vidyaev — the village is named after him.
Then there are the halls where the wall newspapers of the crews made in combat service are located. In the hall opposite — data on the death of 13 submariners "K-131", information about the means of rescue available to submariners in service.
The remaining 4 halls are entirely dedicated to the crew of the Kursk . In the cabin of the commander of the cruiser — captain of the 1st rank Lyachin Gennady Petrovich, after cosmetic repairs, the premises were left as it was during the life of the crew.
The next room contains a fragment of the strong hull of the sunken submarine, photos of the crew members, photos from family albums.
In the former Lenin room there are biographies of the dead sailors, a fragment of the St. Andrew's flag, torn by an explosion-it was raised to the surface by one of the divers who made a technical hole in the strong hull of the boat when the boat was lying at a depth of 107 meters. The Commander-in-Chief's prize for rocket shooting-the Kuryans won it in 1999. The layout of this project and the ship's rynda.
In the last Kursk hall, things and materials are stored, which the prosecutor's office handed over at the end of the investigative measures. As there is a suicide note the captain-Lieutenant Kolesnikov and warrant officer Borisov.
The museum is located in a closed area, on the territory of a military unit. Visiting only with passes and in agreement with the division commander.
