Memorial sign "To the Feat of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War"

The first monument in the city of Polar Dawns. Everyone took part in the competition for the best project of a memorial sign symbolizing the feat of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The winner of the competition was the project of engineer Valery Kuvarzin, who presented a monument in the form of three soldiers ' bayonets, girded with a ribbon of Glory. In 1990, the monument was reconstructed and supplemented with memorial plaques, on which the names of 197 fellow countrymen who once lived in Zasheyka and East Guba and those who did not return from the war.
