Bust of the cabin boy of the Northern Fleet Sasha Kovalev

One of the golden pages of the war against fascism is the feat of the cabin boy of the Northern Fleet Sasha Kovalev, who saved the torpedo boat and his comrades by closing the hole in the engine radiator with his chest.

The monument to the brave sea eaglet immortalized the memory of all the young men of the Northern Fleet who died during the Great Patriotic War.

The authors of the monument: Peter Ivanovich Abarin, Svetlana Ernestovna Abarina. They worked under the guidance of an amateur sculptor from Severomorsk, Ernst Ivanovich Kitaychuk.
