Murmansk airport them. Nicholas II is an international airport of federal significance, located in the urban settlement of Murmashi, Murmansk region. It is located 4 km south-west of the center of the village of Murmashi, 24 km from the center of Murmansk. It is one of the hubs for Nordavia.
By Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 246 of May 31, 2019, following an open vote, the Murmansk International Airport was named after the last Russian Emperor Nikolay II.
Airport terminal
On the ground floor of the airport there are check-in desks, a waiting room, a clean area, an area of international cafes and souvenir shops. On the second floor there is a cafe, a Duty-free shop, airline offices and souvenir shops. The Duty-free shop is located only in the international zone. The arrival areas are located on the first floors - in the right (“arrival hall B”) and left (“arrival hall A”) wings of the building. There is also a VIP lounge, where screening and check-in takes place separately from other passengers.
