The Loparstan ski resort is located on Mount Monche (Nyduayvenchorr) near the city of Monchegorsk in the Murmansk region. The base has a Kuibyshev lift with new lugs, capable of transporting up to 250 people per hour, a new H-130 class lift that can serve about 900 people per hour, as well as a baby elevator that can lift to a height of about a hundred meters. This base also offers evening skiing on a well-lit track until 22.00. Among the huge number of services, it is worth listing such popular ones as rental of various ski equipment, over 40 different sets, comfortable changing rooms, guest houses, a ski-roller track (2.5 km), as well as cross-country ski rental. The length of the illuminated slope is about 1.2 kilometers, and the height difference is 245 meters. The entire natural virgin slope is about 1.5 kilometers wide. There are different ways to get to the base, but usually they first fly by plane to Murmansk and from there they go either by bus or by taxi. You can also come by train to Olenegorsk and from there take a bus or taxi about 30 kilometers to the base.
The base was opened relatively recently, but is already very popular among a wide range of people. It has trails for beginners in alpine skiing, as well as for professionals, as well as for advanced amateurs. There are also children's snow recreation options.
