It was installed in 2017. The creator of the monument is Zurab Tsereteli, a famous sculptor and painter, president of the Russian Academy of Arts.

The height of the monument with a pedestal is 2.75 meters. It was presented to the city by a native of Apatity, a famous TV presenter Andrey Malakhov.

The monument is located in the park on Pushkin Street. Here you can take a leisurely walk, and if you're lucky, watch the squirrels, for which the square has become one of the favorite places in the city.
