Kola district, Teriberka village, Lodeynoye settlement

An art object in the form of two whale tails made of steel is installed on the shore of the Barents Sea on one of the old berths in the village of Teriberka.

The sculpture was made in St. Petersburg. The idea was called "Oceans" and took second place in the regional grant competition for creators in the field of contemporary art. According to the author of the installation – sculptor Alexander Khromykh, the art object is dedicated to Teriberka and its unique nature. This symbol will draw attention to the environmental problems of our world and the protection of majestic animals in the Barents Sea.

The village of Teriberka is the place where you can come to admire the ocean, unique natural phenomena, fascinating views of endless expanses and the largest inhabitants of the planet – whales.
