On an area of 2418.5 hectares, conservation of natural objects with high value is ensured: nesting sites of rare bird species, a historically documented place of long-term nesting of a gyrfalcon, two bird bazaars with both typical (moevka) and rare (big cormorant) species, red book plants and natural monuments.


The wildlife of the natural park is characteristic of the Barents Sea coast of the Kola Peninsula. Representatives of 21 species of mammals, 65 species of birds, 1 species of reptiles and 1 species of amphibians can be found on the territory. Hunting is prohibited within the boundaries of the nature park.


Among the main places included in the territory of the park are the Batareyskiy Waterfall ("Batteries"), Secretarskoye Lake, the Muchka and Orlovka rivers and the coastline. Travel by car within the boundaries of the recreational zone is possible only on equipped roads.


To visit the nature park, you need to register. The procedure takes place online on the official website of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Fisheries around the clock. Applications are accepted both individually and collectively for organized groups of tourists. 


The management of the natural park is carried out by the "Directorate of Protected Areas". Compliance with the regime of the Teriberka Nature Park is controlled by the "Regional Center for Forest and Environmental Control".


The village of Teriberka itself is not included in the boundaries of the park, a permit is not required to visit it.
