Twilight and light. Graphics by Francisco Jose de Goya

Francisco Jose de Goya, one of the greatest engravers, the artistic heir of Rembrandt and Durer, created recognized masterpieces of world fine art — graphic series: "Caprichos", "Disasters of War", "Tavromachia" and "Proverbs". They closely intertwine the tragic reality of human existence with the fantastic, mysterious, "cosmic" feeling of the artist's inner world.

The exposition of the exhibition "Twilight and Light" by Francisco Jose de Goya Graphics includes three series of graphic works made in the etching technique — "Caprichos", "Tavromachia", "Proverbs". There are 138 works in total, they are reproduced from the original engraving boards of Francisco de Goya.
