Permission to visit the Teriberka Nature Park

Teriberka Nature Park is located on the shore of the Barents Sea in the vicinity of the village of Teriberka in the Kola district of the Murmansk region. Its total area is 2,418.5 hectares.
The territory of the Teriberka Nature Park is notable for the stone beaches of the Dragon Eggs, the waterfall of the Maly Battery Lake and its unique location right on the shore of the Barents Sea. Along the entire route, tundra swamps are replaced by bays and granite rocks. Rare birds often nest here, and the red-book rhodiola rosea grows along the coast.
The Nature Park was created in order to effectively preserve and restore valuable, unique natural and historical objects and complexes, as well as to create conditions for maintaining the ecological balance of the territory, for the development of nature awareness tourism and environmental education.
It is prohibited to:
- Any damage to trees and shrubs, soil cover;
- Any actions leading to a decrease in the projective coverage of the grass-shrub and/or moss-lichen layer or the loss of certain plant species, fungi and lichens from its sites;
- All types of hunting, amateur fishing and any extraction of objects of the animal world;
- Collecting eggs and ruining wild birds' nests, destroying and excavating permanent homes of wild animals;
- Collection and harvesting of moss and all types of lichens (including yagel);
- Cluttering and pollution of the territory and water bodies;
- Breakdown of tourist sites and campfires;
- Collection and harvesting of mushrooms, wild and medicinal plants and plant parts (including berries).
On the territory of the natural park it is allowed to:
- Conducting scientific research that does not interfere with the fulfillment of the tasks assigned to the nature park;
- Passing collection of mushrooms and berries for their own needs during individual and group visits along the routes established by the managing institution.
On the basis of paragraph 3.5. of the Regulations on the state nature reserve "Teriberka", its visit is allowed only with the permission of the managing institution - GOKU "Directorate (Administration) of specially protected natural territories of regional significance of the Murmansk region".
Attention!
A list of preferential categories, the amount of fees for visiting protected areas for citizens who do not live in the Murmansk region and a QR code for online payment using a banking application are posted on the website of the Ministry of Natural Resources: https://clck.ru/34R8PF
If at the time of visiting the protected area, you have not yet received a letter confirming the application, show the inspector (ranger) an email about its registration.
