Gastronomic map of Russia

Getting acquainted with a country or region passes through the prism of cuisine, when food acts primarily as a cultural object, and with the help of dishes you can study local history, traditions, customs and myths.  The dynamically developing project "Gastronomic Map of Russia", implemented with the support of the Federal Agency for Tourism, exists just for the popularization of gastrotourism. In four years, he has made his way from a regional test site in the Vladimir Region to a federal-wide project covering 28 regions of Russia. Within its framework, more than 20 mobile festivals of regional cuisine have already been organized, many design and training laboratories and expeditions have been conducted, 9 cookbooks have been published by the largest publishing houses in Russia and their own mobile travel planning application "GUIDE "Gastronomic Map of Russia"will be launched.

The project participants include restaurants, family bakeries, cafes and pastry shops, micro-productions of gastrosuvenirs, shops of local products, large restaurant holdings, tourist bases, centers for preserving the ethno-cultural heritage of small indigenous peoples, culinary studios, cheese factories, wineries, large wineries of federal significance and agro-tourist complexes.

The "Gastronomic Map of Russia" identifies objects in a separate group and marks them with a certificate of conformity, where travelers are guaranteed to get gastronomic impressions about the region.

Certificates of conformity of the "Gastronomic Map of Russia" in the Murmansk region were awarded to the project participants.
