Seafood delicacies
Self-cooked fish dishes will become a pleasant memory of Arctic cuisine! The choice of marine life in the regional markets is huge: ruff, crabs, smoked halibut, salmon… Let every day be fishy!
Milk ear
Among the inhabitants of Russia, milk soup was cooked only by Pomors, and among European neighbors – Finns. It never occurred to anyone else to combine fish and milk in one dish. And in vain, because the ear, cooked in this way, acquired an amazing taste.
Fish liver was often added to the pomora's ear and filled with melted butter. After the dish was ready, the vessel was tightly wrapped and allowed to brew – the longer the better.
Fish pie
The ancient recipe of the Pomeranian fish pie has come down to our days from the depths of centuries. Today, fishers use a non-stick yeast dough, only salt is added. The pie is baked for 20-25 minutes at a temperature of 220 ° C. The fish, "hidden" in the dough entirely, manages to bake during this time.
Northern berries
Northern berries for making delicious desserts can be harvested by yourself – cranberries, cranberries, blueberries grow almost everywhere. But it is better to buy them at markets and in stores in the form of jams and jams: fresh berries may not survive a long trip.
Pomorsky kezh
Kezh is a hot drink made from the squeezed juice of fresh berries, something like jelly. For its preparation, in addition to northern berries, grain, various herbs and spices are used. The drink is served with pies and second courses.
