The feat of the defenders of the Kola land during the Great Patriotic War was immortalized in monumental sculptures and museums of the Murmansk region.

- A significant part of the facilities are located in closed administrative-territorial formations, where large naval and aviation bases operated during the Great Patriotic War.
- A number of monuments are located near the coast of the Barents Sea, testifying to the combat activity of the Northern Fleet and amphibious operations.

Every year on the last Sunday of July, residents and guests of the Arctic region can watch the naval parade in honor of the Navy Day in Severomorsk - the capital of the Northern Fleet of Russia.
